Many families in the rural village of Olturoto face pressures that can place children at risk: financial strain, emotional stress, illness, or caregiving responsibilities shared across grandparents, single parents, or extended family. OCV stands beside these families, intervening early to keep children safe and thriving at home.

Home Visits and Safety Assessments:
Compassionate outreach to identify family needs and safeguard children’s well-being.
Early Risk Identification:
Detecting warning signs such as school absence, emotional withdrawal, or hardship before they escalate.
Connecting Families to Support:
Linking households to vital resources, health services, local leaders, protection agencies, and government schemes.
Practical Problem-Solving:
Helping caregivers tackle everyday challenges and offering solutions before they grow.
Community Outreach:
Promoting a culture where seeking help is normal and stigma is reduced.
After-School Programme:
Provides a safe, nurturing environment for children to benefit from tailored academic support and develop practical life skills.
Community Resource Centre:
a repurposed residential house for counselling and digital access to government and other supportive services.
